Above Treeline
At 12,000 feet there are only tiny 'cushion' plants. This area is under snow most of the year, most years. Last year was fairly dry so there is no snow around the little lake.
Eastern Sierras
The eastern Sierras, beautiful as always, the foreground is a mudslide area created by a summer thunderstorm
Malibu with Raindrops
This is a picture of raindrops on the windshield in Malibu. In the winter, this would not be unusual, and might cause a mudslide. In the summer, it is quite unusual, and makes the sage smell VERY good!
