This pond filled up overnight. 

Calleguas Creek full of water 

La Jolla creek was still dry as of last week. I doubt it is now, and it won't be if it really rains 4 more inches tomorrow. 

Arroyo Sequit also just starting to flow. also flowing better now. 

as an intermission.. some  

The very start of the floodwaters from Zuma Creek into the ocean, probably just a few hours after the lagoon 'burst' open. By now, theres a lot more water in there. 

if you look back in this blog you can see another picture from the same place.. well almost the same place. i couldnt GET to where i took the picture last time.

'Dry' falls with water! 

These are pictures from after the huge storm that impacted the area recently. Note that there were several other large storms after this and at least one more yet to come.. so the flooding/runoff is actually much mroe extensive now than when the pictures were taken. This is Solstice Falls. About 30-40' tall.... thats a LOT of water.
