Art Garfunkel
This plant, named Art Garfunkel, has been in my possession in some form since 1997. He was quite huge at times, then disaster struck or I had to move and I just took a cutting. Most recently I dropped the pot he was in on the floor and he lives in part of a coke bottle. I need to get a pot...

Spring!
Well, I have been really busy over 'spring break' and mostly doing inside things so I haven't had anything fun to post lately. I am really starting to feel restless, especially with spring kicking in - it is downright warm out - near 50 - with some light rain today. Winter will probably kick back in at some point... but right now there are flowers popping up, spring birds singing, and the last of the winter slush is melting.
The one highlight of Spring Break was two days of snowboarding with my friends Katie and Brian and some other good people. Here's a video.

Crazy Snow Dump, Part II
The weather forecast this morning didn't look promising: several inches of snow, followed by rain, and a slushy mess. Instead, it snowed heavily all day - at a few points the snowflakes were almost as big as golf balls. After a rather feeble February, snow-wise, we now have what looks like a foot and a half of wet snow. The forecast is a bit colder than before, too - some rain mixing in each day, but all in all i think this snow will be around for longer than expected, albeit in a crusty form.
