Sycamore Canyon in the aftermath of the floods. This area used to be full of vegetation, and the further part of the creek used to flow about 50 feet to the right of where it is now. Instead of thickets of Mule Fat and a few Willows, the creek now consists of a huge gravel wash with a bit of water running down the middle. Note that this creek had no water at all in its lower reaches for the previous 3 years. It was actually flowing much stronger than ths further downstream but the batteries in my camera died.
