busy like, whoa

So this week has been a mix of getting stuff ready for
the new SCA crew, organizing some new vegetation map
stuff, and doing plant sampling at 3 AM (it was
something i did in Bishop and hated but it's not bad
here, as long as it isnt several days in a row). This
weekend i will be hopefully heading up to Joshua Tree
to see the wildflower/plant display after the nearly
unheard-of amount of rain they have had this winter.
Also, we may be re-recording the Xenon song and a few
others. Our band still needs a name.

The weather has shifted into summer mode for now. It
will probably rain more before the season is done, but
this week it is very warm and sunny, with coastal fog.
I would like to see even more rain but still, the sun
sure is nice.

Why did i make this post? I wanted to see if i could
post to the blog using E-mail. we will see.
