Do you ever wonder why all the TV weathermen change their mind about every 6 hours? Well, part of it is because they don't know what they are talking about.
However, they base most of their forecasts on computer models.
The computer models are kind of predicting a big storm this weekend.
I am saying kind of because.. well, they just aren't consistent. They update every 6 hours. One 'run' will come in as a potent storm, and the next comes in as a dry windstorm. The latest version has a relatively wet, rather cold storm. 6 hours ago, no rain was predicted. At this time last night, they were predicting a virtual flood.
So what will happen? Heck if i know. I may be planning a trip to the Channel Islands so a big storm may get in the way of that. On the other hand, we need the rain, and besides, i just love a good storm.
Bottom line: it will do whatever it wants. the only rain guaranteed is rain that's already hit the ground.
