I like to imagine that this is what life is like on Jupiter, or Saturn, or other gas giants...the time lines for the behemoths in such gargantuan locales runs slow, so slowly...(look how long it takes for storms like the Great Red Spot on Jupiter to run their course. Hardly a summer's afternoon shower!)...that the Monstrous May (whoever she may be!) might have a month or so between the "event" under discussion and the subsequent need for the old "t.p.".
