Tiny Snowfall
The first snowflakes of the season fell today - about 10 of them. Not exactly a blizzard but it was recorded by the local national weather service office too, so it counts. We're only halfway through October! How weird that in this part of the world snow can fall from October until late April or something... about half the year! Meanwhile, California had its first winter storm, and it was a big one, with some places picking up massive amounts of rain. This is of course a good thing as California has been quite dry. I don't think any major flooding was recorded.
