The fire was very close to highway 5, but I didn't get a good picture. This is a picture of the fire a mile or two away, with the sun shining through the smoke. They talk about 50 to 100 foot flame lengths when you go to fire training, and you know that they happen, but actually seeing it is another thing all together.
