This is what happens if you text while driving... you crash into parked cars.

Sara in the poppies

Monday, March 12, 2007

These are pictures of the San Rafael Wilderness in Santa Barbara County. It is beautiful out there but very dry this year.

I want to apologize again for the horrible formatting of my blog lately. Blogger changed their layout and it is nearly impossible to get the blog to work right at the moment. Currently, the layout looks great on the edit screen but comes out funky when i publish.

My painting of said mountain

Little Pine Mountain near Lake Cachuma

A 'Crested' posion oak stalk. This type of mutation is popular with collectors of cacti and succulents; I've never seen a crested poison oak plant before, but I doubt any plant collectors will be after this.

nice sunset.

Busy days in February

So, I apologize for not updating this blog in such a long time. Things have been very busy with all of the new changes in my life and all. Also, I was mostly staying at home for the first half of this month.

The other day it was 84 inside my apartment, and also outside. I live about 1/4 mile from the beach in Ventura. This would be a very hot temperature even for summer... The next day me and Sara were on Mt Pinos about 50 miles away and it SNOWED.

California is weird.

Speaking of Sara, she got her hair cut when she was in France. It's very cute, see?

I got a haircut a couple of months ago, but I already need a new one. Also, my beard needs to be trimmed. This is me after work today. The picture is kinda dark.

Two Tree Hill

This is Two Tree Hill above Ventura. I am trying to figure out the new formatting of the blogger program. They eliminated the easy upgrade through 'hello' and now i have to go through Picasa which is slower and kind of stupid. I guess I can't complain since it is free.

Post-rain Fog

After the rain last week, some neat fog formed up against the Santa Susana Mountains.
